1. Classic country living room are classic and unique

There are a few styles that give a home, or a room within a home, a country look and feel. They include, distressed furniture, French doors, big fireplaces, and a selection of antiques. Upholstering your furniture in white and cream fabrics also creates a country feel. If you want to start slowly, adding small touches such as lots of soft coloured cut flowers, vintage tea sets, and books and candles can go a long way. When it comes to country living the main idea is to make every room cosy. The country is a place where people like to curl up in front of fires, read their books and drink hot cocoa, so if you can create an environment like that, you’re well on your way to building a class country home.

2. Go off the wall with wallpaper
Have you ever been to a house, where upon entering you immediately notice that the owner has a slight obsession with wallpaper? This can be a bad thing, if they have poor taste and choose awful designs. It can also be a wonderful thing as wallpaper can be gorgeous and fun. The trick is to not overuse it. Choose one room, a hall, or a powder room to splash out. Maybe even all three, but don’t turn your entire house into a wallpaper gallery.
